WHO WE ARE
I created my small business, Montalvo Psychological Services, with the goal of helping children and families in need. I specialize in child therapy and parent coaching. I provide in home services for parents that are in need of help with their child or children. I also attend school meetings and advocate for children with mental health issues. Lastly, I am active on social media and attend networking events often in this growing social media world to help spread the word and promote my business.

Training
Dr. Montalvo is seeking an intern that would enjoy learning about growing a small private practice as a clinician who specializes in working with children and families. Training would include learning specific behavioral techniques to work with clients, (behavioral charts, handouts, parent tools and visuals) as well as play techniques to use with children. Additionally, an intern will be taught how to grow a small business by learning about managing finances, networking, the pros and cons to social media advertising, and advertising.
Career Track Advancement
Dr. Montalvo hopes to work with students that are interested in working with children or growing a small business. Interns are expected to explain their goals and objectives for working with Dr. Montalvo so that their needs can be met. Dr. Montalvo is extremely focused on providing a positive experience since hours are limited, but should be productive.

Dr. Montalvo is seeking an assistant that is interested in growing a small business working with children with mental health needs. Daily tasks include reviewing current caseload, prepping or possibly attending client sessions, and assisting with growing the small business by participating in advertisement and networking.
